The Chemical Tuba Society was founded in the autumn of 1998. The reason was that the number of tubists, studying chemistry at the University of Iceland, was doubled. The CTS has ever since been an active part of Reaction, the chemistry students' society. In addition to their own concerts, the CTS has performed on several occations; on student festivals, the Baltic Way mathematics competition etc. This page was updated: 22. December 2003.
